KnitPicker

KnitPicker calculates stitch counts for rows based on short-hand instructions.

It works with Mac OS X 10.3 and up, only.

To use KnitPicker, download the archive, then double click it in the Finder. Then double click on the KnitPicker application, and you will be able to enter the short-hand notation (ie. k4, p2, k2tog, etc.) You can then see the stitch count automatically updated.

You can download it here or the source.

MoonPhase

MoonPhase shows you the current phase of the Moon, along with the name of the current phase. You can also scrub through the various phases to see what they look like.

Mac OS X 10.4 and up, Universal binary

Download it here (includes source code.)

SpaceRat

I wrote the original source in 2001, and have worked from time to time adding little things or improving the engine. An older version can be found elsewhere on my site.

Current version is 10.3.9 and up, PowerPC only

This version was a step along the path to making it a Universal binary, but my development stalled when I had trouble choosing a replacement for my SoundManager calls. As far as I can remember, that's the only bit that isn't x86 compatible.

If you want to make updates to the code, feel free. You can send me your modifications, or not. Assume the code is under the BSD license.

Download the source code.
