I added the new trees to the game; there were about 6 new ones and a few bushes and cacti. I then did a bunch of spawn rate tweaking and added some new spawn checks to prevent thigns getting too close.

secret passages, small trees give less wood, sprite offset so trees don't grow in lakes.

Sorry for the long time since the last post. I've made a lot of progress on the new build screen. It shows you where and what you are trying to build:

And it also shows a picture in the corner of what you have selected.

Here's a picture of the window, where the player has filtered only to see the wooden stuff:

Note there's a tool tip on mouseover showing what it takes to build it, the size of the thing you're building, and the skills you need. If you don't have the skills, the item shows up as ???s, but it tells you what you need to build it.

The screenshots were taken with our new app Upshot. It's doing pretty well, so I'm pumped there. I still find time in the evenings for some Reclaimed.

A few more lever/mechanism changes. Closing stuff on people will kill them. etc.

Boats are working in water. Ping tracker is in, deconstruction fixes for vehicles and containers, news screen before y ou log in.

Busy busy busy! But I have been not been diligent in my posting.

Also I recently finished drawbridges attached to levers, combining identical items in your inventory (combining the stacks), and a few minor bug fixes here and there.

Shopping is complete! I also did a bunch of speed tests and made some improvements to client ui drawing performace. I added some stuff to text fields and I did some work on the focus ui system. This lets you type things in dialogs without getting confused about other things. Framerate checking code, buying and setting shop prices. Working with gold coins inside a shop.

I released a new version of Reclaimed last night- Beta 10. And in other big news, tomorrow I'm heading to GDC! So I'll probably be taking a week or two off from Reclaimed development. We've also got some other cool stuff in the pipeline and it's been keeping me busy.

But anyway, I am excited to show off Reclaimed at GDC, I know a couple people are going to be asking about it :)
